About Chai

Chai is the 4-year-old palomino pony I'm leasing for 2026. She is super sweet but also sassy, and she just needs her own person. During the day, when you walk into the barn, you can typically find her either with her head over the stall door watching everything that is going on around her and begging for treats and attention, or eating hay. She is only 4, so she loves to put things in her mouth. She puts the reins, the cross ties, people and their clothes, and even the stirrups, while I'm riding her, in her mouth. She hates being ridden at night after all her friends go out to the pasture, and will stand in the cross ties with her ears pinned with a mean look on her face, and will even act like she's going to bite you, but it's just her being a sassy mare. Before I started leasing her, every time I went to the barn, I would always go and see her if she was still in her stall. My goals with her are to do hunters and dressage. I'm so excited for what this year is going to bring, and I'm learning more and more about her every day.💖
